Forge initially looked at the feasibility design in 2017 and sought to intensify the underused site. The approved scheme limits the demolition of the exisiting building as much as possible whilst extending to the rear from the first floor upwards. The retained ground floor access to the rear area will include a disabled parking space and increase and improve upon the current cycle parking provision.

In addition there will be two storeys of office space with associated terrace space to either the front or rear of the building, benefitting from views to the shard and beyond. The team are currently working towards the tender package and expect the project to start on site in the final quarter of 2021.
