Leswin Place granted approval by Hackney Council

We are happy to announce that our proposal for Leswin Place in Stoke Newington was approved by Hackney Council.

The tricky enclosed site has been owned by our client for over 30 years and provides studio and office space to small local businesses and artists within a series of single and two storey buildings which make up a collection of buildings arranged around a private courtyard.

Our application proposes the demolition of an existing unit in very poor condition and the addition of another unit to complete the courtyard to the south of the site. The two new units will form a comfortable addition to this community of workspaces whilst improving the overall quality of the location and courtyard spaces on offer.

The external appearance reflects the original Victorian warehouse stock base with charred timber clad upper floors. The new interiors are arranged to make the most of natural light and are configured to be adaptable to changes in occupant requirements.
