The scheme proposed a refurbishment and regeneration of a prominent Victorian building on a major high street. The project generates a more active frontage by changing the use of the basement and ground floor levels to create A3/A4 units. Upper floor offices are upgraded and improved with those on the 4th floor being adapted into two luxury residential dwellings. The proposal also includes a new set back residential upper floor, constructed in steel and glass to create a fresh and contemporary lightweight top floor.
