Forge obtained planning for this mixed use scheme to an existing office building in SE1. The proposal created 14 residential units on the upper floors with new college teaching spaces on the existing lower floors. Arranged around a new central courtyard with new circulation, the dwellings are clad in a modern metal exterior, located upon the masonry of the old existing structure. Care was taken to enable the various uses to operate in close proximity and yet protect each others privacy & amenity.
